Demi and Nate are training to participate in another endurance event as members of the Leukemia & Lymphoma Society's (LLS) Team in Training. Demi has just completed a half-marathon on October 18, 2009 while will Nate is still training for a full IRONMAN in August 2010!

They are doing this in honor of seven year old Lara who has been battling cancer since six years old and who is now in recovery from leukemia.

Today, more than 823,000 Americans are suffering from leukemia, lymphoma, Hodgkin lymphoma and myeloma. People who are battling blood cancer are heroes and they need your support to cross the ultimate finish line - A CURE!
